OK this might sound stupid, but I am a monk who has been trying to take out Shiro with only Heroes and Henchies. I have gotten him as low as 20% then he starts to spam Impossible Odds and I end up eating pavement. Anyone ever defeat him without grouping? And if you did, what combos did you use?

I did on my Ranger quite easily. I took the following:
Myself as a RaO Thumper (Make this a hero)
SV Hero
SS Hero
SoD Hero (Yourself)
Erys
Lukas
Both healer henchies

Kill the first two bound creatures, then just go for the kill on him. Might take a couple of tries, but you should manage it.

That build is good, only 1 thing, Shiro cant be knocked down, so the Thumper isnt very usefull. Take a warrior hero instead.

any reason why you dont get a pug group to help you? since you are a monk, you can be the group leader and pick up what ever you need. I would suggest group of at least a healing monk, a prot monk, and Spoil Victor necro. Other prof will help out on doing dmg. Good luck.

If I rightly recall it involves:

[skill]Critical Defenses[/skill][skill]Way of Perfection[/skill][skill]Unsuspecting Strike[/skill][skill]Wild Strike[/skill][skill]Critical Strike[/skill][skill]Moebius Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Wild Blow[/skill]

It might have been Critical Eye instead of Death Blossom, but I honestly don't remember that bit.

... I don't remember the precise attribute points either, but I expect you could wing it from there. The trick is to just keep both enchants up constantly... wail on Shiro with Critical Strikes when he is vulnerable and hit Wild Blow when he brings up Battle Scars.
